Mufti Ismatullah (Member)

Mufti Ismatullah is a Member at Pak-Qatar General Takaful’s Shari’ah Advisory Board. He holds a Ph.D on Money Shariah perspective from Karachi University and did his Takhassus (specialization) in Islamic Fiqh and Fatawa from Jamia Dar ul Uloom, Karachi.

Mufti Ismatullah also holds Shahadh Al-Alamiyyah degree. Mufti Ismatullah has been teaching Quran, Hadith, Fiqh, Philosophy and Arabic Grammar at Dar-ul- Uloom, Karachi since 1993 and has issued over 25,000 fatawas while serving at Dar-ul-Ifta’ of Dar-ul- Uloom, Karachi.

Mufti Ismatullah is also involved in research in the fields of Islamic finance, especially Takaful and has compiled a book on Takaful which is very famous and popular in takaful industry. Mufti Ismatullah is also the Chairman Shariah Board of Bank Al-Habib and Shariah Advisor of IGI window takaful.
