Pak-Qatar Takaful Group engages University Grads to highlight bright careers in Takaful

Karachi: 02 February, 2016 – Pak-Qatar Family Takaful Limited and Pak-Qatar General Takaful Limited recently took part in the Annual Job Fair 2016, held by Iqra University (IU), Karachi at its main campus. The young graduates showed deep interest in the rewarding professional careers and Shariah-compliant model of insurance services offered by the Takaful industry.

The grand event witnessed the presence of over 90 renowned local and multinational organizations from diversified industries, ranging from; FMCG, Pharmaceuticals, Textile, Engineering, Real estate to Financial Services and Media. There were more than 1,500 fresh graduates as well as a sizeable Alumni of Iqra University who actively participated in the Job Fair. It is one of the largest events of its kind in Pakistan and was covered by a number of mainstream electronic and print media. This vibrant Talent-Hunting exercise, will help the participating organizations in identifying the most suitable and competent human resources for their future needs.

The Pak Qatar Takaful Group distributed informative literature among the participants, besides conducting a survey aimed at gauging students’ preference to opt for a Takaful plan, while also interviewing more than 180 students during the event. The officials of Pak Qatar Takaful Group also held a meeting with the Head of Placements at the IU, who invited them to arrange exclusive seminars in the near future, at the university, to create awareness about the Takaful business and its attractive offerings. Such activities will also promote Pak Qatar Group as the ‘Employer of Choice’ and further elevate the brand image of the company.
